STEPS  FOR  NCLEX   APPLICATION  FROM  INDIA  FOR  RN  USA :- ( last edited on 4/2019) This is an information regarding NCLEX examination and steps of application after I got this successful story from one of my Tibetan nursing friend from Delhi-India. Whereas  I’m a Tibetan Immigrant living in States and I recognized many struggling with NCLEX & the process.                                                                                       Disclaimer :  The Purpose of  sharing this info is only to help international nurses.                 
 So NCLEX -RN examination is licensure examination (USA) . Nurses, whether they are US trained or foreign trained , one need go through NCLEX RN examination and have to pass the NCLEX  to start working as a RN. In India we don't have to give a national licensure examination, we had State board.                                         IMPORTANT tips -

You can check www.cgfns.org as they have many options of which state you need. Cgfns will send your transcript to only one state, if you want to transfer to other state then you need to pay fee. (processing  approx. 8-10months) 3- Some state require English proficiency test like TOEFL/IELTS so you can choose other state like California or NY, which doesn’t need one.  4-If you choose New York they have 2 more requirements like Child abuse and Infection control.
